Robe A La Française

1760s sack-back gown. Poly-cotton fabric with 35 yds of lace trim. The front closes with a hidden row of hooks and eyes.

The undergarments consist of a fully boned custom corset based off of several extant corsets from the mid-18th century. All bones were custom cut and tipped. The corset is flatlined coutil and wrinklease with bias binding. Panniers and petticoat were also custom patterned and stitched for this ensemble.
